Will It Hurt?
Dermal Fillers can feel uncomfortable but we can use an anaesthetic cream to help aid your comfort. Most Dermal Fillers have local anesthetic mixed in with them too further minimize any discomfort.
How Does It Work?
HA (hylaraunic acid) has been lost through the ageing process. We will re introduce this under the skin. Resulting in smoother, youthful juicy lips. HA will attract water to it further bringing hydration to the area leading to fresh, revitalized lips.
Who Cannot Have Lip Fillers?
Pregnant or breast feeding mothers. Anyone who has had a previous allergic reaction to Dermal Fillers or lidocaine.

Procedure time – 40-60 minutes

What products do you use – Juvaderm, Bliss, Restylane
Potential side effects – Bruising, Redness, Swelling, Pain, Tenderness, Itching, rash
Pre-treatment – Drink 2-3 litres of water 72 hours prior. No ibuprofen, aspirin, alcohol or anything that thins your blood 72 hours pre treatment
Aftercare
-Avoid alcohol for 3 days
-Keep well hydrated (2-3 litres of water for the next 3 days)
-Swelling and bruising can last up to 2 weeks
-If you feel any lumps gently press down or massage with coco butter until diffused
-Avoid makeup 24 hours around the area do not apply makeup to the area for 48 hours
-Avoid excess heat treatments for 24 hours
-If you suffer from cold sores there is a risk you could break out with them
-A non drowsy antihistamine can be taken to reduce the swelling
-Paracetamol can be used for pain relief but avoid ibuprofen aspirin or any other blood thinning supplements where possible
-Arnica tablets/cream can be used pre or post treatment to help reduce any bruising
-Keep the area sterile.
