Q. What is permanent make-up?
A. Pigment is implanted into the second layer of the skin, known as Micropigmentation creating a long lasting make-up effect!
Q. Does it hurt?
A. Most clients have expressed that the feeling is no worse than tweezing. Anaesthetic is used throughout the treatment keeping you as comfortable as possible.
Q. Can I have PMU when breast feeding?
A. Unfortunately not, please wait until you have finished nursing.
Q. How long does it last?
A. This really depends on your skin type and lifestyle factors! Eyebrows can last Anything between 1-3 years before needing a refresh! Eyes and lips can last a lot longer! We will give you the best aftercare advice to help you get the most time out of your PMU!
Q. Do you shave my brows off?
A. No we tidy around the area however we do not remove your eyebrows off completely.
Q. What is the difference between digital PMU and Microblading?
A. I offer digital PMU where I use a state of the art tattoo machine to gently implant the pigment into the second layer of your skin. This method last longer and is less trauma on the skin. Microblading is using a hand tool (micro blade) also known as tapping!
Q. Are hair strokes called Microblading?
A. NO hairstrokes are hairstrokes! This can be carried out by machine, digital method and Microblading.
Q. Will it affect my hair growth?
A. There is no evidence to state that semi-permanent make-up can effect hair growth, in fact it has been known to stimulate hair growth!
